Sordid Lives is Martha’s Vineyard’s inaugural theatrical production! In this beloved cult classic play written by Del Shores, based on the 2000 film of the same name, a colorful family from a small Texas town must come to grips with the accidental death of the elderly family matriarch during a clandestine meeting in a seedy motel room with her much younger, married neighbor. The woman’s family must deal with their own demons while preparing for what could be an embarrassing funeral.
Directed by Robert Hazlette, Sordid Lives stars Micha Pelkey, Marty Chaney, Michelle Scott, AJ Sharer, Devon Morris, Jeff Dary, Joseph Galetti, Adam Brehob, Elizabeth Dary, Laura Ross, Graham Weldin and Miya Carroll.
Sordid Lives is an 18+ event and is Rated R as it contains strong language, sexual situations/innuendos and material some viewers may find offensive.
