Christ Episcopal Church invites you and your pets to The Blessing of the Animals on Saturday, October 5, at 10 a.m. on the church lawn. The Blessing of the Animals is a service attributed to St. Francis, the patron saint of animals. Mtr. Katherine Mansfield will pray for and bless your furry, feathery and scaly companions during this short service.
There will be a photographer to take photos of you and your pets. Additionally, donations of dog supplies and food will be collected for Havaheart Rescue. Current needs include puppy training pads, leashes, dog toys (especially for larger dogs), laundry pods and puppy kibble.
