The Springfield Little Theatre Education Department is excited to present THE LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW in its 2023-2024 Education Series!

Icabod Crane is new to Sleepy Hollow and seems to fit right in. He’s taking over the choir, courting the wealthy daughter, and sharing a ghost story or two. But not everyone is happy to see Icabod and not everyone thinks he loves ghost stories as much as he says. What happens when Icabod gets a ghoulish surprise?

THE LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW will be directed by Kaleb Norman.

Placement auditions for performers ages 8 and up will be held Sunday, September 17, 2023 at 7:00 PM at The Judith Enyeart Reynolds School of the Performing Arts for Springfield Little Theatre (“The Judy”). At the auditions, participants will be given and asked to perform a short line reading.

The cast and parent meeting/ first rehearsal will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2023 from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM at The Judy.

Rehearsals will be Sundays – Thursdays from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Not everyone will be called for every rehearsal.

Performances will be presented Thursday, October 19 at 7:00 PM; Friday, October 20, 2023 at 7:00 PM; Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM; and Sunday, October 22, 2023 at 2:00 PM in The Reynolds Auditorium at The Judy.

A participation fee/ tuition of $235 helps meet some of the project’s costs.
