Free summer concert series coming to Park Central Square

April 15, 2025

“Live From Downtown” is a free, weekly concert series that will take place in Springfield, Missouri on Park Central Square every Saturday night at 7 p.m. from May 3 to September 27, 2025. Featuring local artists from Springfield, surrounding communities and the greater Ozarks region, “Live From Downtown” seeks to showcase a wide variety of local talent in a family friendly, free
and accessible environment. The series also aims to serve as an economic driver for the entire downtown area by encouraging people to visit the area, spend quality time interacting with
friends and neighbors and experience first-hand the wide variety of goods and services offered within walking distance of the Park Central Square stage.

Concerts will start at 7 p.m. each Saturday and typically end around 9 p.m. Most shows will also feature an opening act in addition to the headliner. Live From Downtown consists of 20 shows
over the season, with the only dates not programmed being June 14 and August 9, which are already featuring events on Park Central Square for Ozarks Pridefest and the Birthplace Route
66 Festival, respectively.

The “Live From Downtown” concert series is made possible by a presenting sponsorship from Hatch Foundation. The series is managed by Downtown Springfield Community Improvement District (CID) and Headline Productions. Additional sponsorship funding has been provided by the Missouri Route 66 Centennial Commission, The Ozarks Music Alliance, College Station Theaters, Missouri State University and Downtown Council of Champions.
