Spring is finally here, and Downtown Springfield is the perfect place to enjoy it! Whether you’re in the mood for a sweet treat, some shopping, or just hanging out in the sunshine, there’s something fun waiting for you downtown.

Art 🎨

Sculpture Walk Springfield take a self-guided tour through downtown and see over 30 sculptures created by artists from all over the country. It’s free, and always changing.

 

Springfield Art Museum (Temporary Location Downtown) While the main museum is under construction, you can still enjoy the art experience at their temporary space downtown. They’re currently offering art classes, workshops, and other creative activities for all ages.

Formed Art Gallery This downtown gallery is filled with art made by local creators. You’ll find paintings, ceramics, jewelry, and more!

Just around the corner from Formed, Forming Art Studios is where you can roll up your sleeves and make some art yourself. They offer regular classes in painting, pottery, and other mediums.

ArtsFest Artsfest is one of the largest and most popular outdoor art festivals in Southwest Missouri. Hosted by the Springfield Regional Arts Council and presented by Great Southern Bank, this two-day event brings over 100 artists from across the country to Historic Walnut Street.

Time: 7 p.m.

Live! From Downtown is a free summer concert series held at Park Central Square. Each event features local musicians from Springfield and the surrounding region, creating a lively, family-friendly atmosphere in the middle of downtown.

Time: 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM

The Farmers Market of the Ozarks brings its mix of fresh produce, handmade goods and local charm to Downtown Springfield every Saturday afternoon. Held at Park Central Square, the market features a variety of local farmers, bakers and artisans.
