The Downtown Springfield Association (DSA) are now accepting applications for the next round of ASCEND – Advancing Springfield’s Commitment to Entrepreneurship, Networking and Development. This strategic initiative supports small business growth in the heart of the city, with five $5,000 grants available for new or existing businesses with (or planning) a storefront location in Downtown Springfield.
Launched through a partnership between U.S. Bank Foundation, ASCEND connects entrepreneurs with the tools, resources and relationships they need to launch, grow and thrive.
“Supporting the development of small businesses and a dynamic workforce is an investment in today and our future. We’re proud to work with organizations like Downtown Springfield Association to help small businesses prosper and build thriving communities,” said Kristen Polchinski, community affairs manager at U.S. Bank.

Recipients will receive a complimentary one-year membership to the Downtown Springfield Association and must commit to the following milestones and engagement to receive the $5,000 grant:
