DAN FRIGOLETTE seems to be infiltrating the industry in a unique way, by his own hand. A self-starter with a plethora of impressive resume bullets, Frigolette is slowly working his way into our hearts and televisions.
Seen recently on The Wendy Williams Show, Boardwalk Empire, and Sexy Beasts, Frigolette who created the Hoboken Comedy Festival continues to press hard in the industry to strive towards his goals.
As a Stand-Up Comedian, Frigolette appeared on The Artie Lange Show on DirecTV and featured on the Chris Rock produced Totally Biased with W. Kamua Bell on FX in 2013 both shows were consequently cancelled shortly after his appearance.
In 2012 he achieved a comedy career pinnacle when he first headlined the famous Caroline’s on Broadway. In 2011 he was featured in Time Out NY and garnished the attention of Stonehenge LLC a Manahattan real estate company who asked him to write and produce a series of comedic videos for their brand. The Apartmentship was born with fellow comedian and writing partner Andrew Schulz, Frigolette Executive Produced the series. In 2013 the $1B company reenlisted Frigolette for the series Stonehenge Oh Yeah.
An avid writer with a Journalism Degree from Syracuse University, Frigolette has used his background to promote many long running shows in Manhattan and outlying boroughs. The creator of the Hoboken Comedy Festival which celebrated its 5th successful year in 2014 helps to: spread comedy into Sinatra’s place of birth, support local charities, and expand the careers of burgeoning comedians; Frigolette loves honoring the town where he currently resides.
Originally hailing from Syracuse NY, Dan’s stage prose is energetic full of story telling cues and an honest depiction of his intricate neuroses. A consummate professional mixing between sharp crowd work and clever joke writing. Frigolette gets around the country doing tours and colleges all throughout the east coast, consistently frequenting Central New York to bring love and laughs to those who watched him become a man.
