Fresh Gallery Presents: “Conservation Matters: Earth & Environment” Fine Art Exhibit
Springfield MO – Fresh Gallery is thrilled to announce a unique collaboration with Bob Parker Fine Art and Patricia Myers Watercolors for an exhibition in April 2025 centered around the theme “Earth & Environment.” This exciting event will feature stunning works of sculpture by Bob Parker made from recycled aluminum canoes, celebrating both the beauty and fragility of our lakes and rivers as well as the vivid nature inspired watercolors of Patricia Myers.
All artwork will be available for purchase and there will be a silent auction of artwork from multiple artists, a portion of the proceeds will benefit conservation education in Missouri.
Bob Parker, a master sculptor known for transforming discarded aluminum canoes into breathtaking, river inspired works of art. His innovative approach to recycling has garnered attention on PBS and local news across southwest Missouri, highlighting his ability to breathe new life into materials that were once functional and now serve as an artistic commentary on environmental sustainability. Bob is bringing new, never shown before work, including 4 new canoe sculptures. Bob will be doing a live drawing demonstration at Artwalk, April 4. The sculpture will be completed and shown finished at the Closing Reception, bids accepted.
Patricia Myers is a watercolor painter who draws inspiration from nature to create detailed and vividly colorful watercolor paintings. Patricia Myers artwork has been working its way into private collections for years, and this is her first public showcase.
The exhibition runs April 2-26th, 2025 with an opening event during First Friday Art Walk on April 4th, from 4pm-9pm, at Fresh Gallery. Guests can enjoy music, light refreshments, and meet the featured artists, Bob Parker, Patricia Myers, as well as many Fresh Member Artists.. This event is free and open to the public. A final reception is scheduled on April 26th 6-8pm.

About Patricia Myers
Watercolor artist Dr Patricia Myers grew up in North Dakota, surrounded by majestic beauty. Dr. Myers relocated to Springfield, MO in May 2024, and is a practicing physician at a local hospital. Myers utilizes vibrant watercolors to express her breathtaking scenes. She draws inspiration from the natural world around her to create brilliantly vivid watercolor paintings, many featuring animals, flora, and landscapes. She is committed to minimizing harm to our natural world, promoting sustainability, and resource conservation. She refinishes and utilizes recycled antique frames. She also uses recycled material, linens and various other potentially wasted items, in a striking assemblage.
