April 3: “Worm Weather” by Jean Taft
Join in the rainy-day fun, as kids splash through the puddles, affecting another weather enthusiast, a nearby worm.
April 10: “Bird Hugs” by Ged Adamson
Bernard isn’t like other birds. His wings are impossibly long, and try as he might, he just can’t seem to fly. He’s left wondering what his wings are good for…if they’re even good for anything at all.
April 17: “The Perfect Plan” by Leah Gilbert
Maya dreams of building a fort– a special, comfy, cozy place to hide out and read, to dream and play. Will Maya’s fort be everything she hopes? Or could it turn into something she never even imagined?
April 24: “Butterflies are Pretty…Gross!” by Rosemary Mosco
Butterflies are beautiful and quiet and gentle and sparkly . . . but that’s not the whole truth. Butterflies can be GROSS. And one butterfly in particular is here to let everyone know!
