Happy New Year! Welcome to the 1st First Friday of 2019. You are invited to stop by FRESH Gallery and enjoy 28 different artists all sharing space under one roof. So much to see in one location with artists on hand to share their creative process and insight. Works in oil, acrylic, watercolor as well as jewelry, woodturning, glass, pottery and textiles are all beautifully represented. Truly something for everyone.
Our January featured artist is John Whytock. John has been a professional artist for 40 years and relocated to Springfield to complete a six-year, 18 mural/diorama commission with The Wonders of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium and the NRA National Sporting Arms Museum. He is a world-renowned muralist and his award-winning fine art has shown in galleries from New York to San Francisco. John will have a wonderful extended exhibit available for First Friday Art Walk at FRESH Gallery and be available to discuss his inspiration behind each piece. John is also hosting an artists’ reception on Saturday, January 12th, from 3-5pm at Fresh Gallery. Join us for a great afternoon of fine art, refreshments and the opportunity to see the world through the eyes of this exceptional artist.
