Give Ozarks 2021: Rally For Recovery

March, 24 2021 | 7:00 am - 7:00 pm

The Downtown Springfield Association is ready to bring free family fun back to the place our community gathers. Your support helps us bring live music back to Park Central Square!

Downtown is where Springfield comes together. As our community adjusts to post-pandemic life, we’re ready to get that heart beating again.

We ask for your help to bring free, family-friendly, live music back to Park Central Square! Your donations will help the Downtown Springfield Association work with community organizations, like First Friday Art Walk, to make these events happen again.

The COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of our community events, like Artsfest, Cider Days, the Downtown Springfield Christmas Parade, Rated SGF and Taste of SoMo. Fewer Downtown guests mean fewer customers coming to our neighborhood to dine, shop and play.

Live music is intertwined with Downtown’s history, and the DSA has plenty of experience hosting community events. In the past few years, we’ve teamed up with community organizations for free events like the Springfield Jazz Festival, Patio Parties and Sounds on the Square. These celebrations bring friends and families together in a pedestrian-friendly environment. Our small businesses all benefit from the foot traffic in and around Park Central Square.

Your donations will provide funds for local performers, wages for sound techs, and activities for all ages. With your help, we can find our way back safely to our spacious Park Central Square for good music and enduring memories.
