Discovery Center Springfield will have an informal ribbon cutting for their amazing new Big Good Recycling Machine and then open it to the public in celebration of Earth Day 2023. The Big Good Recycling Exhibit was funded through grants from the Ozarks Headwaters Recycling District and GFL Environmental. Through this exhibit young children will become familiar with the concept of recycling and identifying recyclable materials through active play. Admission to the grand opening is free to DCS members, press and sponsors. For all other guests standard admission rates will apply.
