Donations Encouraged

This Sunday we are doing henna for donations to safe to sleep! Get a traditional henna tattoo for bringing in a cash donation or one of the items listed below.

Bring money, new socks, new underwear, feminine products, or hand warmers.

You can either call to make a reservation or walk in anytime Sunday, 10am – 7pm

Safe to Sleep is a temporary homeless women’s shelter, primarily supported by donations from individuals and area churches. We provide women of all ages a safe and compassionate place to sleep. A volunteer staff assures a welcoming and peaceful evening, with snacks and a shower. We rely entirely on volunteers, donations, and the kindness of community churches to provide this service.

Safe to Sleep Women’s Shelter

If you bring money, here is what it goes toward:
• $1 –
o one pair of underwear
o or one pair of socks
• $2 –
o 2 pair of socks
o Or 2 pair of underwear
o 1 box of 18 count maxi pads
• $5 –
o 5 pair of underwear
o or 5 pair of socks
o 1 box of 54 count tampons
o 10 pack of Hot Hands hand warmers
• $10 –
o 10 pair of underwear
o Or 10 pair of socks
• $20 –
o 40 count box of Hot Hands hand warmers
• $30 –
o 1 sleeping bag for use at Safe to Sleep
• $80 –
o 1 tank of gas for the van to transport women to Safe to Sleep
