Nine months in Madeira casks followed by fifteen months in Woodford Reserve rye whiskey barrels imparts a rich caramel sweetness, along with softening its edges and lending a firm tannin structure. But just to show how mean your Mother’s can be,  we further add cold brewed Kerinci Sumatra coffee, roasted by our friends at the Coffee Ethic, for hints of chocolate and stone fruit.
