Join the OH Gallery for the opening reception for “Of this Earth” by J.D. Hull! Endless rolling hills, grand vistas and the ever changing landscape of the Midwest, the Ozark Mountains in particular, are the inspiration behind this selection of oil paintings. Seasonal changes and the splendor of nature are represented in these abstract “windows to the outside world.” Vibrant and colorful, and of the Earth.
OH Gallery’s newest Represented Artist, J.D. Hull, works in oil on stretched canvas. With his paintings, he creates a multitude of layers of rich colors. The paint is applied generously with a lush thickness across the entire canvas. The paintings are inspired by nature, the seasons, sunrises and sunsets, and sometimes simply out of the blue.
As always, there will be three levels of art to explore, socializing, and wine!
