Out Comes Butch, starring Springfield’s Drew Pollock, is about self-creation, transformation and gender identity. This biting comedy is a 60 minute one-man play that is a full-circle journey of one man’s quest for love and his “real” self. It shines light on universal relationship issues from several different angles: blue collar construction worker, new age swinger, gay man, transvestite, transsexual and lesbian. The audience is left to decide whether it’s an odyssey of Self- delusion or the butterfly’s natural emergence from it’s cocoon.
