Join Queen City Chorale for the final concert of their second season: “Sleepers, Awake!” This performance will feature music spanning centuries – from the early Renaissance to the works of today. The cornerstone of this concert will be one of J.S. Bach’s most famous cantatas: Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme. Also included will be sacred works by composers including Victoria, Howells, Jennefelt, and others all accompanied by our collaborative organist, Zaheer Popo. Admission is free, but the choir will be accepting donations to help sustain their work.
