The 2019 Red CAREpet Gala kicks off C.A.R.E.’s official Capital Campaign for the innovative C.A.R.E. Pet Services Center! This gala will be a blast, with drinks, dinner, live music from Lancaster Station, dancing, silent and live auctions, and the commencement of C.A.R.E.’s vision for the future! And, oh yes, dogs will most certainly be there!

Leigh Moody, Lead Anchor at KSPR and Founder of Leigh’s Lost and Found, will MC the Gala!

The Pet Services Center will provide a full-service veterinary clinic, grooming, pet training, community education, food pantry assistance, emergency services, and other pet retention services to low-income families and seniors. The goal of the Pet Services Center will be to reduce owner surrenders, ultimately decreasing the number of animals abandoned in shelters and keeping them in loving homes.​

This will be a huge undertaking, but C.A.R.E. is up for the challenge! We are one step closer due to a matching funds pledge up to $500,000 by a private benefactor. That’s right! All funds raised will be matched, making twice the impact on southwest Missouri’s pets and pet parents!
