Tumble for SGF is an event The Coffee Ethic started as a way to thank the City of Springfield for all the support they received after the passing of Tom Billionis in 2016. It was placed in the Square in 1971, (the same year both The Coffee Ethic owners Tom and Michelle Billionis were born). The City of Springfield commissioned a Greek artist named Ari Demetrios to create the sculpture. As soon as Tom learned the artist was Greek, he became even more curious about the Sculpture because of his Greek heritage. After some digging and research, it was discovered that the Tumbler was meant to be rotated every season so that viewers could enjoy a new perspective. The Tumbler started tumbling in 2012 and has been tumbling every equinox and solstice since.
Proceeds for the evening will go the The Kitchen

Coffee Ethic worked with SGFCO to create a tee celebrating the Tumbler and sharing its story. Get your Tumbler T-shirts while supplies last at The Coffee Ethic! The Coffee Ethic will have Mother’s Brewing Company Chugsuckle on tap, so grab a beer and take home the TCE vintage pint glass that comes with it. (PS. Coffee Ethic also have new coffee cocktails to enjoy!)
After the Tumbler tumbles, head to the Springfield Cardinal’s game with SGFCO and friends.
