The sound of jazz will take over downtown Springfield! On Saturday, September 27, the Downtown Jazz Takeover brings live music to the heart of the city with performances all day long across multiple stages.
From smooth standards to upbeat funk-inspired sets, experience the energy of world-class musicians at iconic downtown locations:
Whether you’re grabbing a beer with friends, enjoying dinner downtown, or soaking in the sights at Park Central Square, you’ll find incredible jazz music filling the air. Stop by the Farmer’s Market of the Ozarks on the square starting at 2:30 pm and enjoy a day downtown!
This one-day music celebration is free and open to the public (Gillioz show is ticketed) – mark your calendar, invite your crew, and get ready for an unforgettable day of music in the Queen City.
