Rated SGF Film Festival postponed

March 16, 2020

After continued monitoring of national Centers for Disease Control and local health department guidance, the Downtown Springfield Association and the Film and Media Association of Springfield today announced that the Rated SGF Film Festival has been postponed. Organizers will work with the film industry special guests, Fox Theatre and other stakeholders to identify a new date. This action is taken in the interests of public health concerns regarding COVID-19. The health and safety of guests, volunteers and staff are always a top priority.

“This was not an easy decision, but ultimately we determined this was the right thing to do,” Jennifer Moseley, festival director, said. “We are thankful for all the support we have received as we planned this event and look forward to hosting our third Rated SGF Film Festival. We will make it the biggest and best to date.”
